Supported builders
Not a plugin for Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf. An agent could only use it if your organization already runs CodeSonar in a build pipeline.
What it is
CodeSonar is a static application security testing product. AdaCore’s page describes whole-program analysis for C, C++, and other languages including Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript, aimed at enterprise, embedded, and high-integrity projects.
CodeSecure, the previous company behind CodeSonar, merged into AdaCore. This is not a hosted scanner for a Lovable URL. It is a commercial analyzer you evaluate with their sales process, often in regulated or safety-critical codebases.
Best for: A safety-critical or embedded codebase that already needs a qualified static-analysis tool.
Watch-outs
- Wrong tool for a typical JavaScript app built in a browser-based AI builder.
- Pricing is sales-led. See site.
Our take
Opinion from ShipSafeStack. Not a score, not a certification, and not a sponsorship.
Included because it is a real SAST product people search for under “code sonar,” and because AI-generated C or C++ in regulated projects is a different problem from a leaked Supabase key. Most vibe-coded web apps will not install this. Do not pick it as the scanner for a weekend SaaS.
