Connect it from server-side code in any of these stacks, or from their integrations with Supabase, Clerk, and Stripe. Do not call the API with a secret from the browser.
What it is
Loops describes one platform for marketing, product, and transactional email: onboarding workflows, broadcasts, and API sends, with contacts kept in sync from tools such as Stripe, Supabase, and Clerk. The homepage says it is free to start, with no card required.
Use it when the email is a sequence — welcome, nudge, receipt — rather than a single raw API call. The API key still stays on the server. Audience mail needs consent and an unsubscribe path, which Loops handles for broadcasts if you use their tooling.
Best for: A SaaS app that needs onboarding and product email tied to user properties, not only a single transactional send.
Watch-outs
- Marketing email requires consent. Importing every signup into a newsletter is a compliance problem.
- Paid prices were not confirmed in this pass. See site.
Our take
Opinion from ShipSafeStack. Not a score, not a certification, and not a sponsorship.
A better fit than a raw send API once you have a lifecycle, not just a password reset. Keep transactional receipts and marketing audiences straight so you do not email a customer who only asked for a login code. Confirm paid limits on their pricing page.
