Supported builders
Frontend-agnostic. Any of these builders can call the API. The Xano docs also show an MCP path for agents such as Claude or Cursor.
What it is
Xano's site describes one backend to build, run, and govern AI-built software: APIs, data, and MCP servers, with tests, deploys, and observability. Underneath they name Postgres, and they stress rules for what agents are allowed to ship.
The frontend can be anything, including an app an agent built, or static files hosted on Xano. It is a backend product, not an AI app builder that replaces Lovable. Pricing was not confirmed in this pass.
Best for: A team that wants a backend with versioned deploys and an API an AI-built frontend can call, without writing the server from scratch.
Watch-outs
- You are trusting a backend platform with data and business logic. Read their access model before production data goes in.

Our take
Opinion from ShipSafeStack. Not a score, not a certification, and not a sponsorship.
Consider it when the thing you are missing is a governed API, not another React page. The governance pitch only helps if someone actually sets the rules. An agent with a wide-open workspace is the same risk as an agent with a wide-open database.
