Supported builders
Put it in front of a site from any builder, or deploy Pages/Workers from a repo produced by Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, v0, or Replit. It does not replace application auth.
What it is
Cloudflare’s homepage describes one network for apps, security, and scale: CDN, DDoS protection, SSL, and the ability to run code near users. For an AI-built app, the relevant products are usually DNS plus Cloudflare Pages or Workers, or simply the proxy in front of Vercel or Netlify.
The homepage listed a free hobby tier with unmetered DDoS mitigation, universal SSL, and a global CDN. Paid plan figures on that page were easy to misread, so this entry does not quote them.
Best for: DNS, caching, and DDoS protection in front of an app, or a Worker/Pages deploy when you want to live on Cloudflare’s network.
Watch-outs
- Proxying a host can surprise you (websockets, caching of authenticated pages). Test login after you turn the proxy on.
- Paid tier prices should be read on the site. We did not quote the mixed figures on the homepage.
Our take
Opinion from ShipSafeStack. Not a score, not a certification, and not a sponsorship.
Use it for DNS, TLS, and a basic edge in front of whatever the builder deployed. A CDN does not fix an open database. If you write Workers, those are server code: keep secrets in Worker secrets, not in the client bundle.
