Add the script from any of these builders. There is no secret in the snippet. Do not confuse it with an error monitor.
What it is
Plausible’s homepage describes privacy-friendly analytics: no cookies, no persistent identifiers, a small script, and hosting in the EU. You get page views, referrers, and goals without a consent banner for their script, according to their own description.
The public cards showed Starter at $9/month, Growth at $14/month, and Business at $19/month next to a 10k pageview tier. Higher traffic costs more. Confirm the tier. This is site analytics, not error tracking. It will not tell you why the API threw.
Best for: A marketing site or app that needs simple traffic numbers without cookies.
Watch-outs
- It does not replace error monitoring or product funnels with user identity.
- The $9 figure is tied to a pageview tier. A busier site costs more.
Our take
Opinion from ShipSafeStack. Not a score, not a certification, and not a sponsorship.
The analytics tool to pick when you want a pageview count and you do not want a cookie banner or a warehouse. Pair it with Sentry or PostHog’s error tracking if you also need to know why a page crashed. The script is intentionally small, which matters on a generated frontend that is already heavy.
