Supported builders
Vendor copy names Claude Code and Cursor. Any builder that pushes a repo to GitHub or GitLab can use the SCM integration. Lovable and Bolt fit after the code is in git.
What it is
Snyk’s site now frames the product as an AI security platform: the code assistants write, the dependencies that code pulls in, and the applications that result. Classic Snyk is still dependency, code, container, and IaC scanning with a CLI and SCM checks.
The homepage says the platform integrates with IDEs, CI, and AI coding assistants including Claude Code and Cursor. Fixes are suggested in pull requests when you connect a repo.
Best for: A project with a real dependency tree that should fail CI when a known-bad package is added.
Watch-outs
- Noise is still the main complaint with dependency scanners. Reachability and triage settings matter.
- Plan prices change often. See the site rather than an old blog post.
Our take
Opinion from ShipSafeStack. Not a score, not a certification, and not a sponsorship.
A default choice when the pain is vulnerable packages rather than a missing RLS policy. Turn on the repo integration or the agent will keep adding the same bad version. It is not a substitute for testing the deployed app.
