Supported builders

v0

This is the builder. Output is a project you can open in git and deploy on Vercel, so the rest of this directory applies directly.

What it is

v0’s site says you ship features, refine designs, and create prototypes from a prompt, then deploy to production or open a pull request. It is aimed at real stacks — Next.js, Tailwind, and similar — not only a static mock.

Deploy lands on Vercel. That is a head start and a constraint: environment variables, preview protection, and serverless functions are Vercel’s. The model will happily put a secret in a client component if that makes the demo run.

Best for: Design-to-production UI and full-stack Next.js work that should deploy on Vercel.

Watch-outs

  • A polished UI is not an access-control model. Check server actions and route handlers.

Our take

Opinion from ShipSafeStack. Not a score, not a certification, and not a sponsorship.

The smoothest path if you already want to live on Vercel and Next.js. Review the diff before you merge an agent pull request. Preview URLs are public unless you protect them. Pair it with the API-key checklist the first time it adds a provider SDK.
